Great day to play in the sand today. We spent the afternoon looking for shells and "mr. crabs". It was fun up until it got super windy and then cold...blah. Way to ruin it for us Mother Nature. Loving my beat up ol sandals that the hubbs hates. I know he's just waiting for me to not pay attention and he's gonna chuck 'em in the trash...Over my dead body.

It was field trip day today at Daycare and we went to the Bouncy House place. It was great because we were the only people there. Theres giant inflatable bouncy houses and things to climb and ball pits which keeps the munchkins entertained for a good while. Ms. J and I took 2 kids each so that neither would get overwhelmed and it worked out pretty good. We ended the trip with some yummy M&Ms (a bribe really to leave without meltdowns...) .

My jumping giggle fish!! This guys is always happy!!! We spent some time on the jumpy today and I think this is the guy who's going to make me lose 50 lbs! Poor Squish, he hasn't quite figured out how to jump yet so he loves to get bounced. Thing is, is that it burns my thighs like crazy and I get so outta breath!!! He's like a mini personal trainer because when I can't go anymore he always yells "Mas!!" ("more" in spanish)...

Happy Memorial Day. For all the men and women who put their lives at risk and sacrificed their own lives so that we can live in freedom.

Our new "jumpy"!! This thing has been in our garage forever!! (in peices of course) We were always to lazy to put it up and finally since we're able to keep our backyard decent now, we decided it was time...It wasn't as hard and it didn't take as much time to put together like I thought. The boys love it...and so do I! I never realized how much of a workout you get by jumping. I can only do a few minutes at a time because it burns the heck outta your legs! Ouch! Maybe it'll help me lose some pounds this summer~~

So today we went to the Memorial Day Parade in Bellingham with Gramma and Grampa and the hubbs aunt and uncle. It was such a beautiful day and we had a great time. This was the first parade we have ever taken the boys to and they loved it! Gramma was able to get the boys front row seats by nicely making her way to the front and setting up their chairs. Bird got so excited with the fire trucks and firemen; they even came up to him to shake his hand. He loved it! Squish was loving all the marching bands...That kid has rhythm! Every time a marching band passed by, he would be-bop with the beat. Hilarious! Maybe he'll be a DJ when he grows up or a musician...hmmm...

Playing outside today like usual and Bird found this Bungee cord next to the fence and while I was out pulling weeds he comes running up to me and pulls me to see something. He made a happy face! It's his first drawing/artwork that actually resembles something! I was so proud!

Squish did not have such a good day today. He got smacked in the finger with a tub which took out some skin next to his nailbed and he tripped and fell down hardcore when we got home..Poor kid. He takes after me in clumsiness. It was such a pain to get that darn band-aid to stay on his finger because he kept wanting to take it off. So we wrapped the heck out of it and voila! After everything was said and done, we made some "ka-kone" to make Squish feel better.

Today was E's birthday and I took her and L to lunch to celebrate. It was a great time catching up and eating good food. Her little vanilla caramel ice cream shot thingy looked just so cute!

So today was bath day for the boys and they always have so much fun! They make a big mess but have fun nonetheless. Bird's new thing is playing with Squish's hair. When I shampoo their hair Bird always asks me to make Squish's hair look like a Stegasaurus. Sometimes he tries to do it himself and he gets so proud. Water, bubbles and wrinkly feet. Good times.

Yum yum yum yum YUM! First of all let me tell you that I'm a huge fan of Oreos. They're pretty much my favorite cookie. The hubbs went grocery shopping (not a big health nut let me tell you...) and got these strawberry milkshake Oreos. Wow. Delish. The boys though, didn't care for them too much. I think it was the color. They're used to seeing the white cream center and these cookies were just "not right" (as Bird would put it). So they didn't even touch 'em. Yes, my boys are special.

So I was cutting it close today with my "picture of the day"...This was taken at like 10:30pm while I was waiting for "J". Its carpool day and my turn to drive...I can't believe how many miles we've put on the Armada since we got it....Its all the driving to Gramma and Grampa's house...Its nice that they're close enough that we can go on the weekend.

This here's my proud ol' hubbs and his newest building project. After Squish aquired his little buckle fracture we were pretty much freaked out by seeing him play within 2 feet of our entrance way so the hubbs decided to build a railing around it. His Dad came that day for "moral support" and helped him build it. I think all in all it came out pretty dang good. Now...I wonder if his new found skills can build us a deck...hmmmm...

So today we went and had a "Pizza and Park" day after I picked up the boys from Daycare...the days are just so gorgeous you can't help be outside. Theres a great park near our house on Fort Nugent Rd. and its pretty much the only one we go to unless we want to be near the beach, then we just go to Wind Jammer Park. The boys were playing and out of no where they saw one of the little girls from Daycare. I think she's Bird's best friend because he always mentions her and says "Oh look, just like A's!!!". So naturally they stuck to each other like glue and played the whole time we were there...Squish wasn't too far behind. He thinks he's a big kid too :)

Yeah, I know...I think this is the 2nd time I forgot to take a pic for this project...dang it! I now keep my camera right smack in the living room so that I see it EVERYDAY and remember to take my picture...These tulips grew in our back yard and they GREW! They were almost as tall as Squish~ I like how pretty they are...I think next year I will plant more...

Mr. Rolly Polly Bug sitting all alone on a tree stump. Bird is really into bugs right now and he's always turning over rocks to see what he can find...Squish, *sigh* not so much. Bird brought him a rolly polly bug one time and Squish thought it was candy...yeah, I caught him before he had a chance to devour the bugger...

So much for my new digi photography book, eh? This picture stinks! But I couldn't get it right. My newest disguise for food when feeding the boys is this nifty new dinosaur cookie cutter type thingy (like I posted before). So today I tried to make a mini piece of dinosaur artwork and made this for Bird. He loved it! In case you're wondering, its two dinosaurs on top of some rocks with a palm tree in the middle...I know its a stretch but please try and see it...Its there, I swear.

My mama's day gift! I guess they can tell that my "picture taking" has really become an obsession and if they're going to have to deal with it, well they might as well make me a good photographer, no? I love it!
